What is the Workshop about?
This 6-hour workshop will give you everything you need to know before Term 1 starts in 2025. I’ll show you the hidden barriers that are rarely taught in classroom, yet make understanding and applying the principles of Maths Methods much easier. You will leave the Workshop with greater confidence to solve problems and understand anything in class that your teacher throws at you!

Who is the presenter?
Alex is creator of one of the most popular Maths Methods websites (MathsMethods.com.au) with degrees in Mathematics/Astrophysics. Over the last 10 years, he's worked with tens-of-thousands of students, teachers, parents and tutors.
He's published over 10 Maths Methods books, presented seminars nationally and internationally.
What will be covered?
For Year 12's: Everything you'll cover in Term 1
Functions & Relations (including sketching any graph, function notation, inverse functions, factor theorem, polynomials, one-to-one and many-to-one functions, odd and even functions, sum and product of functions, composite functions) Logs & Exponentials and Circular Functions (Sin, Cos and Tan).
For Year 11's: Everything you'll cover in Term 1
Sketching any graph (including parabolas, cubics, quartics, hyperbolas etc), quadratic formula, the discriminant, factorising quadratics and Functions & Relations (including function notation, inverse functions, factor theorem, polynomials, one-to-one and many-to-one functions).

14-page handout which includes:
• 30 Simple practice questions completed during the Workshop
• Exam-Style Questions with worked-solutions completed during the Workshop
