VCE General Maths Tutor. Do you need one?

1. Work out why you need a VCE General Maths Tutor

There are a number of reasons that students want to have a VCE General Maths Tutor, and often it comes down to either not understanding the concepts or having trouble in tests.

Students which have trouble understanding the concepts themselves and answering textbook questions and this sort of thing will generally benefit quite a lot from having somebody sit down with them and explain it to them.

It is even better if they can find additional tools like animated videos which explain each concepts in detail so that they are able to understand it conceptually and then they can apply that to a variety of questions, specifically textbook questions. Because if a student doesn't understand what is going on they're very unlikely to be able to perform well in a test.

2. Other resources that are available

Because you can only have a VCE General Maths tutor around for one, two, maybe three hours a week, if you are really lucky, the student needs additional resources that they can use to study in their own time.

Now, if the student is completely unmotivated with VCE General Maths, then this ends up being a little bit of a problem and they need someone to give them a bit of a push. But for a lot of students, just having the resource available and knowing that they need to understand the concepts in class is enough for them to watch even like 15 minutes a day of video tutorials to really understand what is going on.

The curriculum is basically the same with a few minor differences. However, the exam questions are quite different from state to state, so while you can learn the content from anyone, you want to practise questions specifically for your own state (you can access ALL exam questions for FREE here).

To be a little more specific: General Maths tutors in Melbourne specialise in VCE General Maths, General Maths tutors in Brisbane specialise in QCAA General Maths, WACE Mathematics Applications (ATAR course), General Maths tutors in Adelaide or Darwin specialise in SACE General Maths (NT uses South Australian Curriculum) and General Maths tutors in Hobart specialise in TASC General Maths.
