How to get a 25 Study Score in VCE Maths Methods

Here are the exact marks you need to get a 25 in Methods. And this is usually scaled up to a 29. Now, we're talking about the bottom 25 or so percent, so low Cs.

1. What SAC score do you need?

In your SAC, we're talking about really low Cs, so about 50% will do the trick. But don't worry if your school has really hard SACs, it's going to be less than this.

2. What mark for Exam 1 and Exam 2?

In exam 1, it's closer to mid-Cs, so I'd say about 25 out of 80, which is about 35%. And exam 2 is pretty similar, I'd say about 55 out of 160, which again is about 35%.

3. If you're not doing well...

Now, if you're not doing so well, please don't freak out. Maybe check out my video on how I got a student a 25 beyond all possibility (see the 2nd video above), and just work on as many exam questions under time conditions as you can at maths methods.com.au/exams. It'll really help you out.

Is Maths Methods the same around Australia?

The curriculum is basically the same with a few minor differences. However, the exam questions are quite different from state to state, so while you can learn the content from anyone, you want to practise questions specifically for your own state (you can access ALL exam questions for FREE here).

To be a little more specific: Maths Methods tutors in Melbourne specialise in VCE Maths Methods, Maths Methods tutors in Brisbane specialise in QCAA Maths Methods, Maths Methods in Perth specialise in WACE Mathematics Methods (ATAR), Maths Methods tutors in Adelaide or Darwin specialise in SACE Maths Methods (NT uses South Australian Curriculum), Maths Methods tutors in Hobart specialise in TASC Maths Methods and Maths Methods tutors in Canberra specialise in BSSS Maths Methods.
