How does the calculator estimate exam marks?

The calculator starts with your current SAC performance and compares it to your class average.

That helps estimate where you are currently tracking within your cohort. Your school context and selected subjects are then used to estimate raw study scores.

The calculator then applies subject scaling to estimate scaled scores. These scaled scores are used to calculate an approximate aggregate, which is then used to estimate your ATAR.

By adjusting the exam target for each subject, you can see how different exam performances may change your final estimate.
